>_ Atmosphère Patch Files: Direct Links, Versions, and Notes

All the files needed for the Atmosphère patch on Switch, each with a direct download link, its published version, the exact location on the microSD card, and important precautions. This page complements the step-by-step guide: it serves as a reference to keep open while preparing your SD card. Content is limited to the legitimate installation of an open-source custom firmware—no instructions related to game piracy are included.

Before you download

The versions below were checked against the official repositories on September 17, 2026. This software is actively developed: if the repository offers a newer version, you should use it and check the Atmosphère page for compatibility with your firmware. Never download an "all-in-one pack" from an unknown source.

1 · Bootloader and Configuration

FileVersionDownloadLocationNotes
hekate_ctcaer_6.5.3_Nyx_1.9.3.zip
bootloader
6.5.3 (Nyx 1.9.3) Download
All versions
Extract to the root of the microSD — creates /bootloader/ Also contains hekate_ctcaer_6.5.3.bin, the payload to inject (or to copy to a dongle, see RCM without a PC).
hekate_ipl.ini Ready-to-use configuration community source Download
Documentation
/bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini (replaces the existing file) Adds the "Atmosphère emuMMC" and "Stock sysMMC" boot entries. You can also write it yourself by following the official documentation.
bootlogos.zip Boot logo pack Download Extract into /bootloader/bootlogos/ Purely cosmetic. You can skip this if you want to keep the default display.

2 · emuMMC and Custom Firmware

FileVersionDownloadLocationNotes
emummc.txt Configuration template community source Download /emuMMC/emummc.txt Place in the /emuMMC/ folder. It is read when creating the emuMMC, which isolates your modified memory from the original system memory.
atmosphere-1.11.2-master-…+hbl-2.4.5+hbmenu-3.6.1.zip
custom firmware
1.11.2 Download
All versions
Extract to the root — creates /atmosphere/, /switch/ and fusee.bin To be replaced with each Atmosphère update: overwrite /atmosphere/ and fusee.bin, do not delete /emuMMC/.
fusee.bin 1.11.2 Download Root of the microSD, and copy into /bootloader/payloads/ Already included in the archive above. The direct link is useful for updating it separately.

3 · Homebrews (/switch/ folder)

FileVersionDownloadLocationPurpose
JKSV.nro 02/12/2025 Download
All versions
/switch/JKSV.nro Back up and restore your game saves.
ftpd-classic.nro 3.2.1 Download

/switch/NXThemesInstaller.nro Installer for custom themes for the console menu.
NX-Shell.nro 4.01 Download
All versions
/switch/NX-Shell.nro File explorer directly on the console.
Goldleaf.nro 1.2.0 Download

Always use official sources

Each direct link on this page points to the software author's repository. The two files marked "community source" (hekate_ipl.ini and emummc.txt) are simple text configuration files, provided by the community to save time: you can open them in a text editor before copying them.

What to update, and when

With each new Atmosphère release: the /atmosphere/ folder and fusee.bin. With each new hekate release: /bootloader/ (while keeping your hekate_ipl.ini). The .nro files can be replaced whenever you like. Never touch /emuMMC/ after the emuMMC has been created.

Warning

Installing a custom firmware voids your warranty and Nintendo may ban the console from online play—see the risks of being banned. Back up your NAND and keys before any modification, as instructed in the patch guide. Versions verified in September 2026.
